The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Futz as he avoids it easily.
Futz throws a series of punches but Hunter moves out of range.
Hunter defending well as Futz loads up on a big left hand.
Futz throws a big shot that misses.
Futz moves out of range of the body kick from Hunter.
Hunter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Futz.
Hunter fails with the takedown.

Hunter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Futz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Futz wants to control but Hunter is keeping busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hunter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hunter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Futz is just riding it out for now. Hunter eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Futz wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Futz wanted to stand there but Hunter had control of the position.

Futz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Futz has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Futz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hunter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hunter's back!
Futz lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Futz.
Futz is trying to stick to Hunter's back but Hunter is turning into Futz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Futz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hunter.
