The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerra connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gerra.
Dube lands with a right hand.
Dube slaps away a takedown attempt from Gerra, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Dube as Gerra shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clark Gerra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gerra closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dube circles away.
A left and a right from Dube both land. Nice combination.
Gerra takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gerra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Clark Gerra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dube stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dube wants it to stay on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gerra.
Gerra tries for a takedown but Dube sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gerra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dube is fending him off so far but Gerra persists. Nope, Dube circles away and we're back to standing.
Dube rushes Gerra with punches - Gerra moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gerra goes down! Dube follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
