Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blue Dawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chris fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). chris fu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blue Dawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, chris fu!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawn tries to close the distance and clinch but fu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dawn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dawn wants it to stay on the feet.
fu cracks Dawn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Blue Dawn has been cut.
fu swings for the body but Dawn moves out of range.
fu lands an overhand right.
fu shoots in looking for a takedown. Dawn tries to sprawl out of it but fu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dawn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
fu fails with a takedown attempt.
Blue Dawn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of chris fu.
Dawn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

fu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dawn swivels and escapes.
fu throws a shot to the body.
chris fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Some wild striking there from Dawn.
Nice sprawl there from Dawn as fu shoots in.
Dawn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around fu's waist but fu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dawn off to one side.
fu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dawn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
fu looks gassed!
Dawn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dawn fails to land with a series of punches.
fu tries to clinch up.
Dawn misses with a double jab.
Dawn avoids a punch combination nicely.

Dawn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
fu works a leg free and moves into half guard.
fu tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dawn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
