The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rickson wants to clinch up but Yamaski keeps it at a distance.

Yamaski looks for a takedown but Rickson sprawls well.

Rickson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Rickson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yamaski circles away quickly and effectively.

Rickson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rickson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rickson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rickson lands a left and a right that send Yamaski crashing to the mat, dazed. Rickson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yamaski walks straight into a right hand from Rickson - that's dropped him! Rickson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Yamaski from any more punishment! Yamaski complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
