Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinobu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinobu Hayabusa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Trejo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinobu Hayabusa!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo throws out a loose jab but Hayabusa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hayabusa slips a jab and a cross from Trejo.
Trejo misses with the combination.
Trejo looks to land a combination but Hayabusa avoids it well.
Danny Trejo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trejo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Trejo throws a series of punches but Hayabusa moves out of range.

Hayabusa instigates a clinch.
Hayabusa tries to circle away but Trejo has him pinned against the ropes.

Trejo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hayabusa counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hayabusa.
Trejo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hayabusa punishes Trejo's body with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Hayabusa counters with a single leg into guard. Trejo didn't expect that.

Hayabusa is fighting to break Trejo's control of his arms but Trejo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Shinobu Hayabusa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Trejo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Hayabusa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Trejo shoots in and drives through. Hayabusa sprawls well.
Trejo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hayabusa but Hayabusa pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Hayabusa counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Shinobu Hayabusa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Trejo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Trejo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Trejo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hayabusa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Trejo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hayabusa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Crunch! Hayabusa slams his shin into Trejo's torso.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hayabusa. Trejo shrugs it off though.

Hayabusa lands a front kick.
Hayabusa throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hayabusa moves away from the strike by Trejo.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hayabusa - that will leave a mark!
Hayabusa scores with a one two! Trejo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Hayabusa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hayabusa shoots in and drives through. Trejo sprawls well.
Hayabusa moves in looking to clinch but Trejo pushes him off.

Shinobu Hayabusa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hayabusa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
