Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Diego Nougeria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goro gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nougeria is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Goro gets through Nougeria's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
It looks like Diego Nougeria has been cut.
Goro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Goro moves into the clinch.
Goro breaks the clinch.
Goro clinches up with Nougeria and pushes him back against the ropes.
Nougeria manages to pull guard.
Goro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nougeria has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Goro has managed to get both his arms back between Nougeria's legs - danger averted.
Goro is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Goro trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nougeria's guard.
Nougeria looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Goro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nougeria. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Goro wants to control from the top but Nougeria keeps moving.
Goro tries to free his leg and advance position but Nougeria is retaining full guard.
Nougeria has his foot on Goro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Goro works his way back into a safe position though.
Nougeria will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Goro is in close to Nougeria's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nougeria has a closed guard, preventing Goro from standing up.

Nougeria has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Nougeria has his foot on Goro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Goro works his way back into a safe position though.
Goro postures up and lands a big shot to Nougeria's brow.
Nougeria had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Goro defends it easily.

Goro is nestled in close to Nougeria, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Goro wants to pass the guard but Nougeria is keeping the position.
Goro distracts Nougeria with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nougeria has momentary wrist control but Goro slips an elbow through the middle.
Nougeria is looking for a triangle but Goro pushes his legs off easily.
Goro is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Goro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nougeria swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Goro pushes down on Nougeria's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nice strikes from Goro there.
Goro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nougeria with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nougeria looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Nougeria is refusing to be controlled, as Goro sits in half guard.
Goro drops an elbow to the side of Nougeria's head.
Nougeria looking for submissions off his back.
Goro is looking to take a break and control but Nougeria is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Goro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Goro lands a nice short elbow.
Goro scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Nougeria has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Goro. Oh but Nougeria has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Goro goes limp - he's gone! Nougeria jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
