Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shave Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Naga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face's entrance music is Welcome to the TerrorDome. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Naga's choice of entrance music: NAGA Nap. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Nick Naga enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Naga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Face's waist but Face gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Naga off to one side.
Face fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Naga on the side of the head.

Face uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Naga's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Naga takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Face lands a nice hook to Naga's body. Naga takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Face wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Naga has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Naga there as he acknowledges the shot.

Face lands with a hook. Naga tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Naga takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Naga shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Naga showed some decent athleticism there.
Face on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Face tries to get out of the position.

Naga ducks right into an uppercut from Face.
Face will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Naga feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Face is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Naga can do to turn this around?
Face feints and then cracks Naga's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Naga down.

Face clobbers Naga with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Naga shoots for a double leg takedown but Face sprawls well. He's pushed Naga's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Face tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Naga was well out of range. Poor timing from Face.

and Face counters with a series of strikes. Naga will be more careful next time no doubt.

Naga has hold of Face's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Face manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Naga with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Face is desperately trying to improve his position but Naga has a good base and remains in mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Face has given up his back here. Will Naga look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Naga is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Face has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Face, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
