PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Camron Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestling Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wrestling Law was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jackson throws a body punch but Law moves out of range.
Law takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Wrestling Law has been cut.
Jackson misses with a head kick.
Jackson misses with a straight right.
Law shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Law looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Law circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson throws the left hand but Law avoids the punch easily.
Jackson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Law drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jackson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The referee asks Law politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Law prefers to stall for the moment though.

Law seems to have recovered his senses.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Law gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jackson.
Law uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.

Law feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Let's hope that Law has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
