Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maoche The Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Stinsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stinsen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Time of my life. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Smasher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Stinsen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The Smasher lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stinsen hang on?
The Smasher tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Stinsen is looking to get to half guard.
The Smasher looking to control but Stinsen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Stinsen tries to lock up and control but The Smasher gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The Smasher prevents Stinsen from getting the reversal.
The Smasher landing strikes from the mount and Stinsen is in trouble!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Smasher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The Smasher cracks Stinsen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Stinsen wants to control but The Smasher is having none of it.
The Smasher lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Stinsen is in a horrible position here. The Smasher smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The Smasher is landing with some decent strikes but Stinsen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Stinsen is squirming around, avoiding The Smasher's attempts to control the action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Stinsen lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stinsen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Stinsen is looking to clinch.
Maoche The Smasher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stinsen stuffs the takedown.
Stinsen tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Smasher swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The Smasher shoots in and drives through. Stinsen sprawls well.

Stinsen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stinsen showed some decent athleticism there.

Stinsen wants to work for an arm triangle but The Smasher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The Smasher is looking for a sweep. Stinsen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stinsen wants to pass the guard but The Smasher is defending well.

Stinsen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The Smasher is just riding it out for now. Stinsen eventually gives up the hold.

The Smasher is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The Smasher wants to get back to full guard but Stinsen has passed into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Smasher is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stinsen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Stinsen putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Stinsen gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Stinsen tries to clinch up.
Stinsen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The Smasher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The Smasher wants to control but Stinsen is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Smasher lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stinsen down.
The Smasher lands some shots froms side control.

The Smasher stands up and we're back to a striking position.

The Smasher moves into the clinch.
Stinsen tries to pull guard but The Smasher won't allow it.
Stinsen is trying to maintain a safe position but The Smasher gets an underhook and turns Stinsen into the cage.

The Smasher turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and The Smasher manages to end up in side control.
Maoche The Smasher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Smasher working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The Smasher tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Stinsen is looking to regain half guard here but The Smasher keeps moving and retains side control.
The Smasher laying and praying for a moment but Stinsen takes advantage and regains half guard.
Stinsen is trying to stand back up but The Smasher is controlling him

A close second round but Barney Stinsen will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! The Smasher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Stinsen tries to clinch but The Smasher moves away

and The Smasher counters with a single leg into guard. Stinsen didn't expect that.
Stinsen wants to sweep here but The Smasher controlling him for the moment.
Stinsen pulls The Smasher in close to his closed guard and prevents The Smasher from doing any damage or advancing position.

The Smasher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Stinsen darts in trying to clinch

and The Smasher counters with a shoot takedown. Stinsen fights it but they end up in guard.

The Smasher wants to stand but Stinsen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Stinsen wants to stand but The Smasher is controlling the position.
Stinsen is trying to control the position but The Smasher postures up.
The Smasher trying to control but Stinsen is working from the bottom.
The Smasher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stinsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Smasher wants to control from the top but Stinsen keeps moving.
The Smasher thows a big elbow that misses.
The Smasher throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Stinsen thuds a left hand into The Smasher's body.
Stinsen is looking to clinch.
The Smasher takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Stinsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stinsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stinsen cracks The Smasher with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Stinsen wants to stand but The Smasher is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
The Smasher really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
BOOM! Stinsen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The Smasher bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Stinsen tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The Smasher missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Stinsen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The Smasher looking to pass the guard.
Stinsen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Smasher manages to get himself to full guard.
Stinsen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of The Smasher is proving hard to escape from.

Maoche The Smasher showed his dominance in that final round.
