The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarlett slips under a jab from Hammer.
Hammer throws a hook but Scarlett avoids it easily.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Scarlett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hammer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Scarlett defends it easily.

Scarlett takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Scarlett is rocked!

It looks like Mr Scarlett has been cut.
Hammer sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Scarlett's defenses. It connects perfectly with Scarlett's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
