Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Embree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Embree comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Infection by the Rx Bandits kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chuck Liddell had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Embree tries to avoid it but Liddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Embree to the ground. Embree escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Liddell shoots for a takedown but Embree saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chuck Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Liddell or perhaps it was just good defense by Embree which made him look bad.

Embree is controlling an arm, preventing Liddell from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
