Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apostolou tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walters swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Apostolou tries to avoid it but Walters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Apostolou to the ground. Apostolou escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Walters looks to clinch
and Apostolou counters by clinching up.
Apostolou lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Apostolou lands an elbow just above Walters 's eye.
Walters tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walters on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Walters takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Goose Walters has been cut.

Apostolou misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Walters.

Walters blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Theo Apostolou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goose Walters.
Walters trying to control the position but instead, Apostolou has worked for underhooks and has pushed Walters into the ropes.

Walters jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Apostolou walks away with a smile on his face. Walters gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Apostolou counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Apostolou.

Apostolou lands a nice elbow.
Walters wants a takedown.
Apostolou creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Walters's defenses.
Walters takes an elbow to the temple.
Apostolou lands an elbow inside that Walters shrugs off.
Walters fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Apostolou is pressed up against the ropes. Walters has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Apostolou down to the mat. Apostolou avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Apostolou is looking to clinch but Walters is avoiding it.

Walters misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Walters tries for a takedown but Apostolou sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Apostolou clinches up with Walters and pushes him back against the ropes.

Walters has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Apostolou is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
