Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Bullit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bullit is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Velasquez's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Velasquez is looking to control Bullit's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Velasquez avoid being mounted?

Bullit has hold of Velasquez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Velasquez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bullit is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Velasquez is surviving well by controlling Bullit's body position as best he can.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Velasquez doesn't have the hooks in and Bullit manages to turn into his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bullit changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Velasquez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Velasquez is looking to regain half guard here but Bullit keeps moving and retains side control.

Bullit is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Velasquez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Velasquez is trying to defend against the choke here but Bullit has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Bullit Tightens the hold and Velasquez taps out furiously! Bullit displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
