Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Barra Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Lovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lovin has chosen Legend Of Zelda as his entrance music. Mac Lovin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fire keeps the fight on the outside.

Fire scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lovin is trying to keep Fire in close.
Fire trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Lovin is looking for a triangle but Fire pushes his legs off easily.

Fire drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fire jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fire stands and throws Lovin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fire working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Fire is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lovin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lovin breaks Fire's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Lovin drops back looking for a leg! Fire is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fire manages to kick Lovin off! Lovin jumps back into Fire's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fire shoots in but no luck this time.

Fire shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lovin's guard.

Lovin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lovin looking for a sweep. Not yet Lovin, not yet.
Fire lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lovin wants to sweep but no luck.
Fire scoring with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lovin doesn't manage to clinch there - Fire circles away.

Fire moves into range and clinches up with Lovin.
Lovin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lovin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Fire tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lovin smiles and moves away.
Fire fails with the takedown.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fire lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lovin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lovin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Fire shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lovin pinned against the cage. Lovin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barra Fire. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fire is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Lovin is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fire defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Fire decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lovin, up you get!

Lovin moves into range and clinches up with Fire.
Lovin tries to land a knee to the head but Fire blocks with his arms.
Fire has had enough of the clinch but Lovin keeps him there for the moment.

Lovin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lovin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Barra Fire is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fire throws a nice outside leg kick.

Fire changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lovin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fire is trying to get an arm triangle but Lovin is defending well.
Barra Fire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lovin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Fire wants to take a breather but Lovin is having none of it.

Fire is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lovin has managed to free his arm - good work.

Fire is working for a kimura but Lovin is defending it quite comfortably.

Mac Lovin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Barra Fire is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Lovin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fire wants to control from the top but Lovin keeps moving.
Lovin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fire is one step ahead there.
Fire sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lovin's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Barra Fire showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fire, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
