Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wu Di (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slow Fade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fade misses with the combination.

Fade looks to land a combination but Di avoids it well.

Di decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Di wants to free his trapped foot but Fade is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Di is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fade defends it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Di closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fade circles away.

Di feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fade throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Di throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fade's waist but Fade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Di off to one side.

Fade will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fade lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Di can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Fade and Di drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Fade.
