Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Shcenk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, chodharry rajpoot!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shcenk fails to land the takedown.
Shcenk throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
rajpoot dodges the punch combination from Shcenk.
Shcenk misses with a series of wild punches.
rajpoot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shcenk tries to avoid it but rajpoot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shcenk to the ground. Shcenk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
rajpoot pushes Shcenk up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Shcenk's face as he tries to break the clinch.
rajpoot breaks from the clinch.
rajpoot showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shcenk.
Shcenk lands a left and a right that send rajpoot crashing to the mat, dazed. Shcenk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
rajpoot just misses with a punch to the body.
rajpoot moves into the clinch.
rajpoot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
rajpoot throws a head kick that Shcenk semi-blocks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
rajpoot scores with a jab. Shcenk acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Shcenk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by rajpoot.
Shcenk swats away the attempt to clinch by rajpoot.
Shcenk tries to bum rush rajpoot with a series of wild strikes but rajpoot uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shcenk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
rajpoot looks gassed!
Shcenk throws a right hand that rajpoot ducks under and follows up with a left that rajpoot also avoids with ease.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Shcenk! rajpoot is backing up but he can't get away as Shcenk lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops rajpoot and ends the fight. Great knockout.
