The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller shoots for a double leg takedown but Villa sprawls well. He's pushed Keller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Villa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Villa working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Keller fails to pull guard.
Keller has Villa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Villa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Keller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Villa breaks from the clinch.
Keller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Keller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Villa has escaped the position, nice work there.
Villa tries to improve position but can't.
Keller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Villa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Keller has hold of Villa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Villa seems comfortable defending it but Keller has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Villa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Villa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Keller couldn't care less - he's delighted!
