Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Demented (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gun's entrance music is Georgia- Field Mob, Ludacris Ft. Jamie Fox. A fine choice. Damien Demented is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gun shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Demented napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gun sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Demented is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Demented isn't going anywhere.
Demented is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gun off and has taken his back!
Demented slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Gun breaks Demented's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Demented throws a series of punches but Gun moves out of range.

Gun is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Demented's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Demented wants to get back to his feet but Gun is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Demented avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gun closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Demented to the mat! Demented manages to get full guard.
Demented can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gun controls the pace.

Demented seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gun does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Demented takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Demented has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Demented can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gun is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Damien Demented just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Demented goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Demented throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Demented jabs Gun right on the nose. Gun blinks but takes it well.
Gun fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Damien Demented showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Demented throws a looping overhand right but Gun ducks down to avoid it.

Gun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Demented throws out the jab.

Gun slips a jab and a cross from Demented.
Gun takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gun shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Demented sprawls well. Demented wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gun gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Gun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Demented lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gun misses the jab.
Demented connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Gun! He's out on his feet! Demented rushes in and drops Gun with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
