And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giant kong!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kong moves out of range of the body kick.
kong scores with a shot to the body.
Hanma misses with a wild combination.
Hanma moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Giant kong has been cut.
kong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Yujiro Hanma has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hanma misses with an uppercut. kong saw that one coming.
Hanma misses with a shot to the body

and kong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hanma won't be happy with that.
Hanma taking punishment in the form of punches.
Sloppy strikes there by kong.
kong throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hanma is trying to improve his position.

kong tries for a kimura but Hanma is defending well.
Hanma is trying to control kong's posture but kong avoids it.
kong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

kong throws a strike aimed at the side of Hanma's head but Hanma avoids it well.
kong scores with a couple of short elbows.
kong misses with the ground and pound.
Hanma tries to buck kong off but kong is having none of it.
kong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hanma sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
kong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
kong in side control, throwing shots but Hanma defends.
kong tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Hanma gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
kong thows a huge punch but Hanma dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hanma.
kong throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hanma on the side of the head.

Hanma lands a left and a right that send kong crashing to the mat, dazed. Hanma thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
kong looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hanma throws a leg kick
and kong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hanma throws a monster overhand right that drops kong! Hanma follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
