Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Canuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Hoyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruno Canuto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Canuto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonard Hoyt!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Canuto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoyt's guard.

Canuto has gone for a leg lock! Hoyt slips out almost immediately though and dives into Canuto's guard.

Hoyt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hoyt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hoyt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Canuto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hoyt has managed to get both his arms back between Canuto's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hoyt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I would just about give that final round to Leonard Hoyt.
Well Hoyt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
