Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Blaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Master Blaster has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jack Beam's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Beam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Master Blaster!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Beam throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Beam closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Blaster is trying to get back to full guard.

Beam is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Beam drops back looking for a leg! Blaster is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blaster manages to kick Beam off! Beam jumps back into Blaster's guard.

A close round but Master Blaster will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Blaster throws a series of punches but Beam moves out of range.

Beam's corner calls for a 1-2. Beam obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

No joy there for Blaster, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

so Blaster counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Blaster sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Beam's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blaster is on top in guard.

Blaster stands up over Beam, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Master Blaster is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Master Blaster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Blaster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
