Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xrok Jui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damon Pierce will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierce gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jui to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pierce shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jui napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pierce looks up at the clock and then as Jui takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pierce smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Pierce might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jui kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jui is squirming around, avoiding Pierce's attempts to control the action.
Pierce throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jui because Pierce loaded up on that one.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Pierce is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Jui swats away the attempt to clinch by Pierce.

Damon Pierce showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Jui closes the distance and clinches.

Jui has hold of one of Pierce's legs. Pierce is fighting the takedown attempt but Jui gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jui is looking to improve his position but Pierce isn't that keen on the idea.

Pierce with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Pierce is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jui has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jui is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Xrok Jui.
