Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jed Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and omer abubakr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jed Kim had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
abubakr throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
abubakr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
abubakr shoots in looking for a takedown. Kim tries to sprawl out of it but abubakr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

abubakr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. abubakr showed some decent athleticism there.

abubakr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kim looking for a kimura from the bottom but abubakr passes into side control!
abubakr postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

abubakr cracks Kim with an elbow. That is naaassty.
You can see the frustration on Kim's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

abubakr stands and steps away. Kim gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kim misses with a double jab

and abubakr moves into the clinch.

abubakr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but abubakr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kim lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kim throws a leg kick that is checked

and abubakr counters with a takedown into side control.
abubakr trying to control the position but Kim is working away.
Kim is breathing heavily.

abubakr decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kim to his feet.

abubakr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kim.

abubakr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than abubakr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!

abubakr throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kim scores with a nice strike.
abubakr drops his hands momentarily and Kim takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
abubakr checks a leg kick nicely.
abubakr takes one on the chin but seems OK.
abubakr slips under a jab from Kim.
Kim throws a hook but abubakr blocks it.
abubakr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten abubakr somewhat.
Kim misses with a looping left.
Kim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but abubakr manages to avoid it.
abubakr takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kim works abubakr's body with a nice hook.
abubakr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. abubakr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by abubakr.
abubakr misses with the combination.
Kim misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kim bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

abubakr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kim looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kim avoids any damage from the ground and pound of abubakr.

abubakr decides to stand back up. abubakr steps back and let's Kim get back to his feet.

abubakr shoots in and bounces Kim off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
abubakr trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
abubakr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kim is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. abubakr is aware though and is defending well.

abubakr decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

abubakr rushes Kim and presses him up against the cage.

abubakr breaks from the clinch.

abubakr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
abubakr is trying to control. Kim wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. abubakr lands a nice short elbow.
Kim wants to control but abubakr is keeping busy.
abubakr is nestled in close to Kim, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

abubakr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
abubakr wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

abubakr tightens his grip and picks Kim up, before dumping him to the ground. Kim manages to land in guard.
abubakr slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

abubakr stands up and waves to Kim to follow him.
abubakr shoots in for a double leg but Kim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kim throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and abubakr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kim's guard.

abubakr looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
abubakr works his foot free and advances to mount.
abubakr prevents Kim from getting the reversal.
