The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Paiva connects with the punch.
Paiva moves in looking to clinch but Daniels pushes him off.
Paiva misses with a leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Daniels.
Daniels throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Raphael Paiva has been cut.
Paiva bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Daniels! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Daniels is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Paiva gets to his feet and stands over Daniels, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Daniels felt that one! Paiva unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Daniels from any more punishment!
