Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo shoots in but no luck this time.
Polo pushes vokitichikonov up against the ropes in a clinch.
Polo takes a knee to the side of the body.
vokitichikonov manages to pull guard.
Polo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
vokitichikonov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
vokitichikonov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
vokitichikonov is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Polo trying to control but vokitichikonov is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Polo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
vokitichikonov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Polo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
vokitichikonov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
vokitichikonov tries to move to mount but Polo blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Polo pushes vokitichikonov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, vokitichikonov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Sloppy strikes there by vokitichikonov.
Polo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
vokitichikonov is just content to waste time from the top position. Polo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Polo wants to stand and escape but vokitichikonov is having none of it.

Polo doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
vokitichikonov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Polo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of vokitichikonov, into his guard.
vokitichikonov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Polo's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
vokitichikonov landing with the ground and pound.
vokitichikonov throws a strike but Polo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Polo lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Polo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
vokitichikonov trying to control the position here.

Polo wants to control from the top but vokitichikonov keeps moving.
Polo won't allow vokitichikonov to get back to his feet.
Polo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Polo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Polo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
vokitichikonov keeping moving, preventing Polo from controlling successfully.
vokitichikonov wants to sweep but no luck.
Polo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Polo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! vokitichikonov screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Polo! Nice submission victory there!
