Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay Ludwig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludwig comes to the cage accompanied by Wasp - I wanna be somebody. Jay Ludwig has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ludwig avoids it really well and circles away.
Petrov scores with a spinning back kick!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Petrov.
Ludwig gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ludwig goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Petrov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ludwig but great work by Petrov.
Ludwig tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on Ludwig's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Petrov tries to score with some ground and pound. Ludwig controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Petrov is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That was a close round but I would say that Jay Ludwig will probably get the nod.

Petrov cracks Ludwig with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Ludwig from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Well Ludwig has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
