Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt tries to clinch but Batista moves out of range.

Batista shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Batista postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Belt to stand up.
Belt tries to clinch up but Batista circles away and keeps his distance.
Belt throws a lazy right hand but Batista sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Belt is looking to clinch.

Batista darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Batista really is a fat lump.
Batista wants to stand but Belt has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Batista stands up out of the half guard.

Batista decides to stand and escape the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Batista closes the distance and clinches up with Belt, looking for a takedown. Batista pushes Belt against the cage but Belt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Black Belt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belt moves in looking to clinch but Batista pushes him off.
Belt looks to score with a jab to the body but Batista is just out of range.

Batista shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Batista is breathing heavily.
Belt gets back to half guard.
Batista blocks the strikes from Belt.
Belt moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Batista stands up and waves to Belt to follow him.
Belt tries to close the distance and clinch but Batista swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Belt cracks Batista with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Belt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Batista to stand back up!

It looks like John Batista has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Belt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Batista sprawling to the canvas! Batista rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Belt finish him?!

Batista is rocked!
Belt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Batista is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Belt tries to clinch up.
Batista seems to have got his legs back now.

Belt moves in close and cracks Batista with a massive right hand! Batista, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Belt!
