Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Taldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jensen Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taldo throws a right hand that Dayley ducks under and follows up with a left that Dayley also avoids with ease.

Dayley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Dayley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taldo tries to avoid it but Dayley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taldo to the ground. Taldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Taldo is pressed up against the cage. Dayley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Taldo down to the mat. Taldo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Taldo tries to bum rush Dayley with a series of wild strikes but Dayley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dayley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
