The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinchley doesn't manage to clinch there - Ject circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ject stuffs the takedown.

Pinchley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ject tries to avoid it but Pinchley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ject to the ground. Ject escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pinchley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ject swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ject throws a right hand that Pinchley ducks under and follows up with a left that Pinchley also avoids with ease.
Pinchley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ject sprawls well. Ject wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pinchley gets slowly back to his feet.

and Ject makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pinchley is breathing heavily.
Ject stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Nigel Pinchley has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ject lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Pinchley is looking to close the distance but Ject sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Pinchley crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Pinchley is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
