Coleman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Home again. Mark Coleman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hatt Mughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mughes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mughes wants it to stay on the feet.
Mark Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coleman showed some decent athleticism there.
Mughes wants to get back to his feet.

Coleman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mughes sees it coming and defends easily.

Coleman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mughes has managed to free his arm - good work.
Coleman is pressing down on Mughes's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mughes is holding on for now.

Coleman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Coleman is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Mughes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mughes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground.
Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mughes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mughes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Coleman throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mughes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Coleman stops Mughes from standing up.
Coleman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Coleman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Coleman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Coleman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Coleman postures up in Mughes's guard and throws a big left but Mughes blocks it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mughes wants to stand and escape but Coleman is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Coleman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Coleman tries to clinch but Mughes moves out of range.

Coleman has managed to clinch.
Mughes tries to break free but Coleman pushes him back against the cage.

Coleman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Coleman manages to end up in side control.
Coleman tries to score with some ground and pound. Mughes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Mughes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mughes tries to get out of the position.
Mughes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Coleman is controlling him well.
Coleman in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Mughes on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Coleman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mughes, who protects the arm well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Coleman dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Coleman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mughes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mughes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Coleman throws an overhand right that lands on Mughes's shoulder, as Mughes tries to avoid the shot.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Coleman. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Nice shot lands for Mughes.
Mughes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coleman.
Coleman throws a nice looking combination but Mughes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Coleman shoots for a takedown but Mughes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mughes napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mughes takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mughes wants to get back to his feet.
Coleman is breathing heavily.

Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mughes keeps working.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mughes can't do much from the bottom here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Coleman landing a few strikes.
Coleman advances nicely into full mount.

Mughes is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Coleman! Mughes is hurt baaadly! Coleman is firing away with more strikes - Mughes is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
