Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Bring em Out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Johnny White is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson darts in and clinches White up against the cage.
White wants to break free but Jackson has control.

Jackson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jackson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

It looks like Johnny White has been cut.
Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
White is trying to get back to half guard.
Jackson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jackson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but White sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson fails to land the takedown.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.

White is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jackson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip White to the mat. White regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Jackson throws a nice looking combination but White bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson.

White tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

White seems to have recovered his senses.

White is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The has opened up Johnny White's cut even more.

Jackson is working for a guillotine from mount but White frees his head quite easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
White is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jackson takes White's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, White is in trouble.
White tries to escape the position.
White is keeping busy.
White is trapped and Jackson is scoring with shots to the head and body.

The cut above Johnny White's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Jackson.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jackson lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White is trying to stand back up.
Jackson lands punches and elbows.
Jackson doesn't have the hooks in and White manages to turn into his guard.

White pushes down on Jackson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
White wants to get back to his feet.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. White lands a nice short elbow.

White decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

White lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
White lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Johnny White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.

Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

White throws a few rabbit punches from the bottom. Jackson was waiting for it though - now White's arm is in the perfect position for an arm triangle - he's tightening it up and White is forced to tap out before he takes a nap! Very clever counter grappling there from Jackson!
