Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitsomiru Tamaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hitsomiru Tamaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charles Mann!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mann blocks a head kick by Tamaka.
Mann scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tamaka throws a head kick but Mann moves out of range.
Tamaka tries a head kick but it misses.

Mann bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mann working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tamaka managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Mann.

Mann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mann misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Mann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tamaka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mann goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tamaka has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mann but great work by Tamaka.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mann throws and elbow that misses. Tamaka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mann's guard. Nice move by Tamaka!

Tamaka stands and steps away. Mann gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd cheers as Tamaka lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mann doesn't seem phased though.
Tamaka throws a head kick that misses.
Mann circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Tamaka. No joy for Mann on that attempt.

Tamaka throws a series of punches but Mann avoids them all with ease.

Mann changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tamaka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Mann wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tamaka, who protects the arm well.
Tamaka is trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Good leg kick by Tamaka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tamaka doesn't manage to clinch there - Mann circles away.
Hitsomiru Tamaka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tamaka moves away from the strike by Mann.
Mann looks to land a combination but Tamaka avoids it well.
Tamaka is looking to clinch but Mann is avoiding it.

Mann has picked Tamaka up - he's going for a ride! Mann dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Mann is looking to advance position but Tamaka won't allow it.

Mann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tamaka knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mann is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tamaka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mann.
Mann looks to land a strike but Tamaka avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tamaka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mann with a flurry of punches that miss.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Mann tries to land a front kick but Tamaka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Tamaka fails with an attempt to clinch.
A jab lands there for Mann.
Mann looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tamaka tries to clinch there but Mann circles away.

Mann throws a series of punches but Tamaka avoids them all with ease.

Tamaka tries to close the distance and clinch but Mann swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mann ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Mann looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tamaka!

Mann throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tamaka because Mann loaded up on that one.

Tamaka is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mann locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Tamaka is forced to tap!
