Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Bongwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Mortis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bongwater comes to the cage accompanied by Peter Tosh - Speech about Herb. Mortis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The theme tune from Rocky. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

It looks like Bud Bongwater has been cut.
Mortis takes a swing at Bongwater's ribcage but misses.
Bongwater takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bongwater.
Bongwater creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mortis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Mortis throws a lazy right hand but Bongwater sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Bud Bongwater will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mortis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bongwater manages to avoid it.
Mortis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bongwater.
Bongwater closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bongwater wants to take a breather but Mortis is having none of it.
Bongwater thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mortis's head.
Mortis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bongwater slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mortis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bongwater accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bongwater throws and elbow that misses. Mortis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bongwater's guard. Nice move by Mortis!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Some bone on bone action there as Bongwater checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Bongwater shoots in but Mortis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A clash of legs there as Bongwater blocks the low kick.
Mortis misses with a wild body shot.
Bongwater moves out of range of the strikes.
Mortis throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bongwater.
Bongwater will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bongwater is trying to drag Mortis to the mat but Mortis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bongwater closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mortis lands a left and a right that send Bongwater crashing to the mat, dazed. Mortis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fighters circling - Mortis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Mortis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bongwater.

Bongwater shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mortis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
