The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popov moves into the clinch successfully.
Popov blocks an elbow strike from Leonov.
Popov goes for a takedown attempt but Leonov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Leonov darts in and clinches Popov up against the cage.
Popov tries to pull guard but Leonov won't allow it.
Leonov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leonov lands a head kick that stumbles Popov and the fighters go to the mat.
Popov is rocked!
It looks like Igor Popov has been cut.
Leonov stands up from Popov's guard - Leonov perhaps looking for a knockout.

Leonov dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Popov has had enough and taps out.
