Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Commie Sutra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sutra comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique - Golpe de Estado. Commie Sutra looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Reynolds darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Reynolds tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sutra knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sutra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reynolds on the ground.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reynolds in particular looking to stall.
Reynolds wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sutra keeps working.

Reynolds seems to be working for a kimura but Sutra defends the submission attempt.

Reynolds is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Reynolds thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Reynolds pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sutra is keeping the position for now.
Sutra wants to stand and escape but Reynolds is having none of it.

Reynolds drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reynolds jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sutra will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Reynolds shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Reynolds was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Reynolds has control of Sutra's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sutra regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sutra defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Reynolds.

Reynolds is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sutra has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Reynolds goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sutra is on top in guard.

Reynolds working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sutra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sutra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reynolds is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sutra has his hands clasped together but Reynolds extends an breaks Sutra's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Reynolds.
