Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves has chosen Bullet-Infinite Mass as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pedro Alves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Alves takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Pedro Alves has been cut.
Black scores with a nice right hand.
Alves lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Alves slips a straight right by Black.
Black rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alves moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Black lands with a hook. Alves tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Shawn Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alves moves out of range as Black strikes.
Black goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Alves lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Alves sizes up Black with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Alves dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Black. That did some damage!
