The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Branch paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Branch fails with the takedown.
Branch shoots in looking for a takedown. Green tries to sprawl out of it but Branch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Green manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Green tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Branch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Branch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Branch misses with a wild combination.
Green throws a nice looking combination but Branch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Branch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Reggie Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nigel Branch.
Green tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Branch throws a good cross that connects.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Green misses with a looping left.
Green connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Branch momentarily.
Branch throws a left and a right that both miss
and Green counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A jab from Green misses.
Branch misses with a hook to the body
and Green connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Branch thows a left - swing and a miss!
Green throws a right and a left that Branch avoids nicely.

Branch tries for a takedown but Green sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Branch takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Branch throws a left and a right that both miss
and Green counters with a monster head kick that knocks Branch out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
