The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benoit closes the distance and clinches up with Lewis, looking for a takedown. Benoit pushes Lewis against the cage but Lewis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lewis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Chris Benoit has been cut.

Lewis lands a left and a right that send Benoit crashing to the mat, dazed. Lewis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Lewis closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Benoit out cold! Benoit corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
