The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers connects with a jab.
Ricardo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ricardo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Rogers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ricardo circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Ricky Ricardo has been cut.

Ricardo avoids the body shot from Rogers.
Rogers connects with a jab.

Ricardo is rocked!
Rogers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ricardo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rogers throws a jab when Ricardo was well out of range.

Ricardo tries to clinch there but Rogers circles away.
Rogers cracks Ricardo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ricardo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Rogers pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ricardo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
