Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cheik Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Bold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cheik Congo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bold momentarily.

Congo gets the takedown into side control.
Congo trying to control the position but Bold is working away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bold can do anything to dispel that myth.

Congo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Congo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Congo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bold defending well though.
Congo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bold keeps working.
Congo is looking to pass Bold's guard but actually Bold recovers to full guard.

Bold keeping moving, preventing Congo from controlling successfully.
Congo stands and throws Bold's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bold manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Congo seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bold trying to hold on to Congo's head to control him but Congo postures up.
Bold is staying active underneath Congo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Congo thows a huge punch but Bold dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Congo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bold doesn't seem bothered though.

Congo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bold sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Congo somewhat.
Bold wants to clinch.
Cheik Congo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Congo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Congo trying to control the action but Bold is working from the bottom.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Congo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bold does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, if Congo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Congo wants to control from the top but Bold keeps moving.
Bold avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bold keeping moving, preventing Congo from controlling successfully.

Congo trying to control but Bold is working from the bottom.
Congo wants to stand and escape but instead Bold has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Congo striking off his back but it's not causing Bold any problems.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Congo or perhaps it was just good defense by Bold which made him look bad.
Bold defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Congo.

Bold has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Congo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bold, pushing him back against the cage.
Bold changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Congo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Congo throws a head kick that misses.

Bold has Congo up against the cage in a clinch.
Congo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bold just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bold can't get the takedown.
Bold is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Congo is defending well for now.
Congo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bold smiles and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Bold showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Congo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bold can't escape the position.
Congo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Congo trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Congo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bold to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bold shrugs it off.

Bold defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Congo.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Congo lands with some strikes.

Congo goes for an armbar but Bold turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Congo pushes Bold off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Bold drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bold controls the position.
Cheik Congo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bold stands up and beckons Congo to his feet.
No joy there for Congo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Congo clinches but Bold breaks the clinch

and Bold counters with a takedown into side control.
Congo can't do much from the bottom here.
Congo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Bold is pressing down on Congo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bold is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Harry Bold comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
