Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Heikki Heijari!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a right hand that Heijari ducks under and follows up with a left that Heijari also avoids with ease.
Heijari tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Heijari misses with a combination
and Brown counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Heikki Heijari has been cut.
Brown misses with a wild combination.
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Heijari closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Heijari pushes Brown against the ropes but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brown throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Heijari stumbling backwards into the ropes! Heijari bounces back off the ropes towards Brown, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Brown lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Brown celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mark Brown!
