Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josef Mauel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Gailfus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mauel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gailfus pinned against the cage. Gailfus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gailfus rushes Mauel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Gailfus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mauel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gailfus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mauel somewhat.
