The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gr scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard.

Gr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Johnson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Gr escapes and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Johnson is trying to work for a sweep but Gr has mounted him!

Gr has hold of Johnson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
