Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gram Mahone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahone comes to the cage accompanied by 300 Violin Orchestra. Williams comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Proof- by DL Incognito kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mahone closes the distance and clinches.
Mahone misses with an elbow strike.
Williams blocks an elbow strike.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Mahone, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mahone wants to clinch.
Mahone tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gram Mahone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams misses with an uppercut. Mahone saw that one coming.
A head kick misses from Mahone.

Mahone gets caught flat footed, as Williams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Mahone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Williams distracts Mahone with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Williams drops back looking for a leg! Mahone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mahone manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Mahone's guard.
Williams wants to pass the guard but Mahone is keeping the position.

Williams won't allow Mahone to get back to his feet.

Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mahone has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Williams off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Mahone.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mahone won't be happy with that.

Williams is staying tight to Mahone's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Williams lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mahone down.

Williams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mahone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Williams has an Americana. Mahone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Williams is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Williams hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
