Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vinny Russo!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash throws a head kick but Russo moves out of range.
Russo dodges the punch combination from Crash.
Crash looks to land a right hand but Russo moved out of range.
Crash takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Crash will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crash looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Russo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Russo avoids the head kick by Crash.
Crash closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Russo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Crash is trying to reverse the position but instead Russo has taken his back - oops!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Russo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Crash has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Well, with Russo on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Crash is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

It looks like Vinny Russo has been cut.

Michael Crash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Russo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Russo is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Russo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crash knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Russo has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Crash's body.

Russo has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Crash! Can he survive? No! He's out! Russo gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
