Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamey Jasta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jasta comes into the arena with Smash Your Enemies blaring out of the sound system. Brown has chosen Pink Floyd: Have a Cigar as his entrance music. Tyson Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jasta blocks a head kick by Brown.

Jasta shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jasta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jasta off to one side.
Horrible takedown by Jasta or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.

Tyson Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brown tries to bum rush Jasta with a series of wild strikes but Jasta uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brown throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Brown wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jasta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown wants to get up but he can't break Jasta's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jasta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Jasta's legs - danger averted.

Jasta is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Brown gets to his feet. Jasta looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That was a close round but I would say that Jamey Jasta will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brown tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jasta is able to avoid easily.

No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Brown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jasta.

Jasta shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Brown preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jasta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jasta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jasta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jasta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brown is pushing Jasta's head away, looking to escape. Jasta manages to hold on to the position though.

Jasta has hold of Brown's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Brown tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jasta cranks the arm and Brown screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Brown, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
