Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darwin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rough Gem. Charles Darwin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson throws a hook to the side of Darwin's head but Darwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Darwin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ferguson swivels and escapes.
Darwin ducks under a wild hook from Ferguson.
Ferguson fails to land with a series of punches.
Darwin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Darwin shoots for a double leg takedown but Ferguson sprawls well. He's pushed Darwin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Darwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Darwin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ferguson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
It looks like Percy Ferguson has been cut.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ferguson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Percy Ferguson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
