Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kebab Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Hopkins or perhaps it was just good defense by Tanner which made him look bad.
Hopkins moves into the clinch successfully.
Tanner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hopkins.

Tanner has gone for a leg lock! Hopkins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tanner's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hopkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hopkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tanner is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hopkins has just dragged him back down to the mat.

and Hopkins counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hopkins wants to pass the guard but Tanner is keeping the position.

Hopkins postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Tanner to stand up.

and Hopkins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hopkins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hopkins creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tanner sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tanner tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Hopkins decides to stand back up. Hopkins steps back and let's Tanner get back to his feet.
Hopkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Hopkins pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kebab Hopkins has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tanner wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Hopkins is working for a guillotine from mount but Tanner frees his head quite easily.
Tanner tries to reverse the position but Hopkins maintains control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

BOOM! Hopkins connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Kebab Hopkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Hopkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
