Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Good Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Day comes to the cage accompanied by Hifana - Wamono. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day thuds his shin into the meat of Sanders's side.
Sanders looks to land a combination but Day avoids it well.
Sanders missing with a left hand there. Day was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Day throws a leg kick which misses Sanders's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanders tries to avoid it.
Day keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sanders gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sanders throws the left hand but Day avoids the punch easily.

Day has closed the distance and engaged Sanders in a clinch.
Day is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Day lands a good knee to the midsection. Sanders won't want to take too many of those.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Good Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sanders misses with a hook. Day ducked under it nicely.
Sanders takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Sanders throws a looping overhand right but Day ducks down to avoid it.

Day jabs Sanders right on the nose. Sanders blinks but takes it well.
Bruce Sanders is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Day swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sanders.

Sanders shoots in and drives through. Day sprawls well.
Day goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Sanders drops his hands momentarily and Day takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Day, right into the meat.
Day throws a front kick that sends Sanders stumbling back into the cage.
Day connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanders. Sanders circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Day shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sanders's guard.
Day is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanders has wrist control.
Sanders bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Day's guard.
Day has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Day keeping full guard, as Sanders tries to pass.
Day lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanders!

Sanders keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Day has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanders's face.

Day landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Day is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sanders has managed to free his arm - good work.
Day not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sanders is looking for a sweep. Day is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sanders is staying active underneath Day, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A combination from Sanders does no damage.
Sanders misses with a straight left.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Day stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Day fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sanders on the side of the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Day. That snapped Sanders's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Day is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Day circles away and we're back to standing.

Day moves into the clinch.
Day scores a nice knee to the body.

Day lands a right hand.
Day looking to throw knees to the head but Sanders is blocking nicely.
Day with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Day gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Day lands a hook that snaps the head of Sanders backwards.

Sanders working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Day doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sanders is tightening it up a little... Day has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Day reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Day taps out! nice BJJ there by Sanders!
