The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakusaba has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pieru throws a sloppy head kick and Rakusaba moves out of range easily.
Kazushi Rakusaba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rakusaba scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Rakusaba is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pieru sees it coming and defends easily.
Pieru manages to get to full guard.
